Hurricane Issac is bearing down on the Gulf of Mexico, and will be over Cuba very soon. It's possible that the 50 mph winds will loose strength as it go on land in Cuba, but will regain strength when it comes into the Gulf. Determinations of where it will actually land has a wide path showing. It will definitely graze Florida and go toward Alabama, Georgia and possibly Louisiana. It's never a sure thing when predicting these storms, but it looks as though Texas will be spared this go-round.
